Small Groups for Women

Fall Semester, 2010

Rally Day at the church will be Sunday, Sept. 19, when displays will be set up for each of the small groups to be offered the fall semester at Cedar Lake Christian Assembly. These groups are also for persons who do not attend the church. Registration for these groups will be on Rally Day. If you are interested in more information on any of these groups, please contact the leader. Phone numbers and email addresses are provided. Please note starting dates.

MOPS -- Mothers of Pre-schoolers

Mothers of children from birth to kindergarten can come and find an opportunity to connect with other moms while developing a closer relationship with God.

• Meets 1st & 3rd Tuesdays from 9:30 -11:30 a.m. in the CLCA Chapel.
• There will be registration fees, but scholarships are available.

Beth Moore -- Believing God

Bible Study

Explore what it means not only "to believe in God" but "to believe Him".

• Meets 2nd and 4th Tuesdays from 9:30-11:30 a.m. in the CLCA Chapel.
• Begins Tuesday, Sept. 14. Sign up with Kristy by Sept. 7.
• Purchase of a workbook for the study.
• Childcare available for those who have signed up by contacting the leader prior to attending.

Priscilla Shirer -- One in a Million Bible Study

Come on a journey with the children of Israel out of Egypt, through the wilderness wanderings and into the Promised Land with Bible teacher Priscilla Shirer. If you hunger to experience the power of God, hear His voice and live in the abundance promised you, this is the small group for you! Brief homework. DVD teachings, discussion, worship, ministry and fellowship. From the pew to the pavement--will YOU be the "one in a million"?

• Meets Thursday nights from 6:30-8:30 p.m. at 3301 Magnolia Lane, Ocean Springs
• Begins Thursday, Sept. 23, and runs for seven weeks, ending Nov. 4.
• $12.29 workbook available the first night of the study.
• Childcare not available.

Secret Sisters

"Connect" by ministering to a Secret Sister through prayer and encouragement (notes and cards approximately two times per month). You will be ministered to!

• Fill out profile form for your Secret Sister at the Rally Day display

CLCA Single Ladies

Singles find themselves in a mad pursuit to find their "better half" instead of living the whole life God intended for all of His children. Let's learn together all that God has in store for us as individuals.

• Come with a dish to pass and a heart hungry for more of God.

Women's Events

If you have a heart for blessing the ladies of CLCA through working on women's special events, please join us! The emphasis this fall will be hosting the Generations Legacy Event, the fourth and final in the year-long series on Saturday, Nov. 6. Tablescapes will be featured at this event.
